Kelli Barnett is a certified massage therapist, has received certification from The National Guild of Hypnotherapy and is a Yoga Alliance-recognized instructor. She will be your personal guide on your journey to release weight for your body's overall wellness.
Our mission at Be Well is to help you find peace in your own skin. The Weight Release program treats you with the compassion you need, in hopes that, with our continued support, you will learn to treat yourself with the same respect and kindness you deserve. It will begin with forgiveness. Instead of feeling tormented, wishing your body would function a certain way, you will learn to understand your body. Assimilating breath, nourishment and thought are your tools to find awareness and celebrate the beautiful body you were blessed with. You may choose to measure your progress on the scale, or let your awareness be your guide. Are you standing taller? Are you less critical of others? Do you have a newfound self- confidence? Are your fluctuations in mood evening out?
morning workout
The first step is establishing a regular exercise habit in your life. Five mornings a week you will meet for yoga. Kelli will teach a series of yoga postures, laying the foundation for a deeper practice. Every workout is followed with a guided meditation to reinforce your Weight Release goals, leaving you refreshed and invigorated.
nutrition
Our Be Well nutritionist will meet with you once a week and offer suggestions for a well-balanced diet. At Be Well we encourage lifelong sustainable good habits — like drinking plenty of water, eating whole grains, lean protein and lots of fresh, preferably organic, fruits and vegetables. We'll ask you to limit caffeine, alcohol and refined sugar. The peaks and valleys resulting in stimulants like these make it difficult for anyone to stay present and be aware of their feelings. We might love the "high" of that first glass of wine, or need the mid-day coffee buzz to get through a busy afternoon, but often the inevitable "low" leaves us in a heap on the couch at 10pm with Ben, Jerry and Frito-Lay.
hypnotherapy
Kelli will use her skills in hypnotherapy to uncover the source of your challenge with weight while you are in the program. Often we are hungry for something in our lives and we choose food to fill the void. Let's figure out what that void is, and fill it with something better.
massage
So much of taking responsibility for our health is learning how to cherish ourselves. A Be Well CMT (Certified Massage Therapist) will give you a 50-minute massage each week. All Be Well massage therapists are proficient in deep tissue, 2nd level reiki, foot reflexology, lymphatic, Trager, and cranial sacral massage. Massage is a necessary component in the program, letting go of what you don't need and treating yourself with the compassion you deserve.
Fees, Terms and Conditions
1. There is a one-month minimum commitment to the program. During your stay in the program, you are welcome to take as many complimentary classes at Be Well as you like. At the end of your commitment, you may schedule free monthly check-ins with Kelli, receive discounted fitness classes, as well as, discounted massage and hypnotherapy sessions for 6 months.
2. Are you a candidate for the Weight Release program? We'll need some information first. We will ask you your age, your weight release goals, your list of medications and other questions about your current lifestyle. For your safety and ours, please have clearance from your physician in writing.
